JARRED AND CHERYL ENGAGED!

Jarred surprised me this passed Friday and proposed! He said to pack a bag and didn't tell me where we were going. I had a feeling due to our circumstance, but I just assumed that he had something special planned for our last weekend together before our Baby "Otis" arrives.

Our evening started with a stroll at the beach. Suddenly, he takes a poem that he wrote out of his pocket and recited them to me. At the end of the poem, Jarred got on his knee and asked, "Will you be my wife?" I was so overwhelmed with happiness that I forgot to answer him. Jarred says, "You didn't even answer my question." I guess it is important for the guy to hear the word "YES" as much as it is to for a woman to be proposed to. = ) I was so blissfull that it seems like a blurr.

Afterwards, we headed to the Ritz Carlton for a night cap where he surprised me with chocolate and strawberries and beautiful rose petals all over our room. At night, we went to dinner in the hotel and splurged! We ended the night to a romantic candle lit room. I almost felt like I was in that reality show "The Bachelor". Haha.

We wanted to make sure we told our family the news before we posted on the blog. Cheers to a happy life together. We are both very lucky to have each other.
