We have been lucky with a good baby. Kai rarely cries. He gets fussy, but doesn't throw fits. When we do things for the first time he cries because it's new to him. By the second try, he's fine with things.
I noticed that Kai would be "easy-going" when we were at the hospital and he latched on to my breasts for breastfeeding just as easily as he latched on to a bottle and a pacifier. Usually they recommend that you don't give babies a pacifier or bottle until they are used to a mother's breast, but he had no problem taking all three kinds.
I encourage that he naps during the day with noise around him so he can distinguish day and night. Jarred and I both feel that it's important that he learns to nap with noise or conversation around him so he can adapt to "our" schedule.
