We celebrated a Baby Blessing for our son Kai. The event took place at Corona Del Mar Beach “California Style” early in the morning. Our immediate families were present to witness the dedication. We worked with an officiant to create a customized ceremony that was special to Jarred and I. We gave thanks to our parents for providing us with a great life growing up and we dedicated ourselves to be the best parents for Kai. Kai looked adorable…we were on the beach… the day was hot BUT beautiful…..so we could not have asked for a better day!

At the end of the ceremony, we expressed to our families how special Corona Del Mar Beach was to us and why we chose to have Kai’s ceremony on those sands. It was because on May 18th, 2007, Jarred and I were married there. SURPRISE! We wanted to tell our families at the same time and in person so this weekend was the perfect opportunity. It was hard keeping it a secret, but we managed. We plan on having a real wedding and renew our vows in the next year or so. The same officiant, Marcy Ann that wed Jarred and I did Kai's ceremony. It was very sweet....Below is a photo of mom crying for joy!
It was soo hot! We dipped our feet in the water to cool us off.....
This is when we announced to the rest of our good friends the news of our marriage!
