JARRED AND I MET IN NOVEMBER 2002 WHEN JARRED JUST MOVED TO OC FROM LA. ONE "GIRLS NIGHT OUT" TURNED INTO “GIRLS NIGHT OUT + JARRED” (lucky for him). UNEXPECTEDLY, WE WERE ATTACHED THE REST OF THE EVENING. I KNEW FROM THAT FIRST NIGHT HE WAS THE ONE! AFTER OUR FIRST DATE 2 WEEKS LATER, WE HAVE BEEN INSEPARABLE. NOW MARRIED WITH 2 BEAUTIFUL KIDS, WE ARE ENJOYING THE NEXT CHAPTER IN OUR LIVES.

How Mommy Is Doing

Well it's been almost 3 weeks since I gave birth to Kai. Since then, I am slowly recovering. The aftermath of the C-section caused my blood pressure to increase. That was scary. I am now on medication to stabilize it and hopefully wean off of it in a few months. I am mentally ready to go and start getting active, but my Dr. placed a stop to that. I have to technically rest for 6 weeks. Talk about cabin fever. Short walks for 20 minutes is the most I am allowed to do. I forget that a C-section is a major surgery. = ) It has been easy adjusting to Kai's schedule. His schedule is entails 3 hour intervals of feeding, wake time, changing diaper, and sleeping. But I am exhausted and trying to get my body used to this schedule and "also" having enough energy during the day to do other things. I just got clearance from Kai's Pediatrician that I can let him sleep through the night. That has helped me to have a 5 hour stretch to sleep.
